Whimsical Wednesday {Photoshop before & after}

Hey look I'm posting and its before midnight lol... ok so I had a different picture for this in mind but when I got it up on the computer it was way to much bokeh and a little hard on the eyes so instead I'm revisiting an image from summer of 09 in Brookings Oregon, I love the beach there and the beautiful sunsets!! Let me know what you think of the before & after {this image was shot with my point and shoot and then taken off of facebook so I am sorry for the low quality!}

Baby Brinley { 3 months }

I was so nervous to take these pictures! I don't think that I will ever claim to be a baby photographer, its hard work and you really do need a studio, which just really isn't my thing. But when I was asked if I would be willing I agreed to take on the challenge! We took these in my living room and they turned out WAY better then I was expecting them to! Brinley is so sweet and cute, I think she looks just like a cute little Kewpie doll, thats probably most of the reason these turned out the way they did, its hard to take a bad picture of a cute baby!! I had so much fun taking these! Hope you love them! 

Busy Busy

This last weekend was probably one of my busiest yet! I love being busy though so it all worked out! I Started with this sweet little baby on Saturday Morning

Then I was able to go hang out with this beautiful family Saturday afternoon, and thankfully we got done right as it started to rain!!

Sunday started bright and early and after almost 2 years this family was all finally in Utah at the same time and more then ready from some family pictures!! 

I finished off the weekend Sunday afternoon in Salt Lake at the SLAB with something that really hits home for me, I was able to photograph my first home coming and even though it wasn't anyone I knew before Sunday, I had to hold back the tears because I knew just what they were feeling and its so amazing to have your loved one come home after being gone for so long! Thank you for letting me be a part of your story! 

I am seriously so excited about all of these sessions, Let the editing begin!!

Brandi - Protraits

I love this time of year, things are starting to come back to life but at the same time you have the dead of winter hanging out, I think it makes for some very pretty backdrops! It doesn't hurt having a beautiful face to photograph as well :) One thing if for sure, I'm looking forward to not having my fingers go numb while out on a shoot, well until next winter :) I am loving the way these came out, let me know what you think!

 

 

Whimsical Wednesday {Photoshop before & after}

This edit literally took me about 1 min. I started by brightening my curves, sharpened the eyes, added one of my own vintage actions at 40% and that was that! I hope you like it and I'd love to hear what you think!! 

week 10 & 11

I've been feeling like I was forgetting something for a while, and I just realized that I never posted week 10 and I forgot to post week 11 yesterday! Opps! So I took week 10s picture last Saturday on my way home from Heber and I took week 11s picture here in town the other day, hope you like them! 

Tea + Mike Engaged

I was asked to tag along for this shoot and I am so glad that I was able to!! Tea & Mike are such a cute couple and so fun, I think I laughed more then anything else on this shoot! It was freezing cold {like always in Utah in early March} but these two tuffed it out anyways and we got some amazing photos! Good luck on your up coming wedding and thank you so much for letting me be a part of your journey, I hope you love the pictures as much as I do!
